Aza Mansongi
Aza pays homage to the woman because although being the base of the family, she is also the first victim of the exactions of the current society. Whether through conjugal violence, wars and other professional abuses, they suffer traumas that for the most the time remain indelible. Saddened, they are forced to flee to a land of hope where they will be able to obtain some safety, hope and peace. That's why in this painting, she represents women in a dominant red background that represents distress; the fear of not having a better tomorrow. The lady washing her clothes represents the brutal hard times they are going through, keeping hope that it will one day stop to live in peace with their family (a peace scene represented on the window of the machine). Also, there is the head of one of the characters looking at the sky calling for peace.
