The show is entitled. “Flying Colours"or “Envolées Chromatiques” curated by Dominique Loubao, founder of Essence&Sens Gallery, focusing on two mediums; sculptures and paintings will celebrate celebrating diversity within African Contemporary art. Dominique has been researching various artistic movements and she concluded that these movements are no longer as current as in previous eras. Today artists are challenging society by their own singularities.
For the show Dominique has curated... work by 12 African contemporary artists residing in various countries, 12 African Contemporary artists all residing in various countries, all bringing their own stories and perspectives. These artists truly represent the face of globalization and their use of colour is something that one could argue embodies this movement, if there is even such a thing.
