The art exhibition #shapeofthenew explores our global challenges: a pandemic, social injustices, fractured economies,and a myriad of other personal and cultural concerns. What power do artists hold to reinvent themselves and our world when old certainties can no longer be relied on to shape the future?
We invited 28 artists from across the globe to respond to this theme and express their ideas and impressions of the current moment. And they didn't disappoint. The exhibition is a stunning showcase of contemporary art, featuring work from a diverse range of art practitioners, including emerging artists Oluwole Omofemi (Nigeria) Tiffanie Delune (UK/Belgian Congo) and Diana Rosa (Cuba/Canada).
